Carol Van Biezen, Owner
Carol completed her degree in Physical Education at the University of Calgary in 1992. She has been involved with gymnastics since a very young age and trained with the U of C gymnastics and tumbling teams while working on her degree.
She represented Canada at the Power Tumbling World Championships in Germany in 1990 with a 3rd place finish and in New Zealand in 1992 with a 5th place finish. She has been coaching many levels of gymnastics and tumbling since 1988 and has helped lead her athletes to many Provincial, District, and State titles in tumbling and gymnastics.

Ginger Fox, Owner
Ginger has a diploma in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal College in Calgary, AB, Canada, and has been coaching gymnastics since 1986. Ginger has coached all levels of gymnasts from the tiny tot to the competitive athlete and has helped lead many gymnasts to District and State titles.
Ginger was also a successful competitive gymnast competing Nationally throughout Canada in artistic gymnastics and Power tumbling. She represented Canada at the World Power Tumbling Championships in New Zealand in 1992 and finished 7th.

Chloe, a former competitive cheerleader and NCA National Champion, has been coaching since 2010 and joined Eagle Gymnastics Academy in 2012. Known for her sweet disposition, Chloe has become one of Eagle's most beloved coaches, highly sought after by parents. She is passionate about helping young athletes reach their goals, teaching not only gymnastics skills but also life lessons on becoming impressive young individuals. In addition to coaching, Chloe has transitioned to the role of Lead Office Administrator, where she continues to support the Eagle community with her dedication and positive influence.

Conner began coaching in 2016 and joined Eagle Gymnastics Academy in 2024. With a wide variety of experience, he has worked with national team and elite-level athletes and coaches across multiple disciplines, gaining valuable expertise in high-performance training and business management. Conner specializes in program development, including introducing advanced pathways for aspiring gymnasts. Committed to fostering growth and teamwork within a culture of joy, Conner strives to inspire athletes to have the best gymnastics experience possible.

Chelsey dedicated ten years to competitive gymnastics, achieving the status of a Level 10 National qualifier before retiring at that level. After leaving gymnastics, she transitioned to track and field, specializing in long and triple jump, earning a full-ride scholarship to Texas Tech University. While competing as a jumper at Texas Tech, she achieved 5x All-American honors and was recognized as a BIG 12 Academic Scholar. Following her graduation from Texas Tech University, she transferred to the University of Maryland, where she currently holds the record for the 4th farthest jump in the school's history.
Chelsey began coaching gymnastics in 2014 and is passionate about guiding athletes to reach their full potential by implicating strategies for mental health and improving athleticism of all ages. Her primary aim is to foster confidence within all of her athletes.

Melissa was a previous student at Eagle and started as a front office administrator in August 2022. She believes in ensuring excellent service standards, responding efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. In addition, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a History degree in Spring of 2023 and is starting graduate school in the Spring of 2025 at Sam Houston State University for Political Science.

Vanessa has been an office administrator at Eagle since 2021. She has always made it a priority to give our clients an exceptional customer experience. She attended Central New Mexico, Community College and University of New Mexico. Vanessa brings to Eagle an abundance of experience, including personal banking, human resources, and early childhood education.

Myke has been coaching gymnastics since 1991 and brings incredible energy and enthusiasm to Eagle Gymnastics Academy. A former competitive gymnast and cheerleader, she is passionate about helping young gymnasts achieve their goals. Myke coordinates Eagle’s Music, Muscles and More program, building strong connections with the families she teaches.
As the mother of two, Myke balances her coaching role with volunteering for her Church Youth Group. Her dedication to both her athletes and her community makes her a valued member of the Eagle team.

Velvet, a former competitive gymnast, began coaching in 1998 and has been a vital part of Eagle Gymnastics Academy since 2005. Known for her energy and enthusiasm, Velvet keeps her gymnasts motivated and focused on making great progress each week. In addition to her coaching talents, Velvet loves to sing and shares her vocal talents by performing the National Anthem at Eagle-hosted events. Her passion and dedication make her an invaluable member of the Eagle team.

Jared has been coaching since 1993 and joined Eagle Gymnastics Academy in November 2016. He has been a member of the National Trampoline & Tumbling coaching staff since 2009 and has served on multiple committees that have shaped the sport of gymnastics in the United States. A former tumbler for 19 years, Jared represented the USA on the National Tumbling and Trampoline Team, competing in countries such as Portugal, Canada, South Africa, Denmark, and Germany. With a background in Athletic Training, Jared is passionate about helping his athletes achieve their goals while fostering a love for the sport.

Tina has been teaching gymnastics since 1993, working with athletes at all levels, from tiny tots to competitive gymnasts. Certified as a personal trainer, Tina is known for her commitment to teaching strong, technical gymnastics, making her a valuable part of Eagle Gymnastics Academy’s staff. Since joining Eagle in July 2009, she has coordinated the Preschool Program and coached both recreational and competitive athletes. Tina’s expertise and dedication continue to inspire gymnasts of all ages.

Stephen has been a part of the Eagle Gymnastics Academy family since 2012. He began as a recreational coach and quickly advanced into an exceptional team coach. During his tenure, Stephen has produced numerous North State, State, and Regional Champions and played a key role in the Future Stars Program at Eagle. After taking a brief hiatus to focus on his studies, Stephen has returned to coach the Eagle Boys Team. We are thrilled to have him back and look forward to the incredible future he will help build for our athletes.

Coach Piti has been coaching gymnastics since 1985 and joined Eagle Gymnastics Academy in May 2017. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Brazil and was the Head Coach at the University of Passo Fundo before moving to the USA in 2001. A former gymnast himself, Coach Piti earned numerous State, Regional, and National titles in Brazil.
As a Men's Developmental Program and Junior Elite coach, he has guided his athletes to achieve countless National, Regional, and State titles. While Coach Piti can teach all levels of gymnastics, his true passion lies in developing the boys' program and shaping young men into champions. His vast knowledge and dedication make him an invaluable asset to the Eagle team and the boys' program.

Maritza began her gymnastics journey at Eagle Gymnastics Academy when she was just six years old. Starting in the recreational program, she quickly advanced into the competitive program, where she thrived as an athlete. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from UNT and gaining over three years of coaching experience, Maritza returned to the gym where her gymnastics career began.
We are thrilled to have her back as she shares her knowledge with our competitive girls' team and skillfully manages the front office. Maritza is wonderful with her students and continues to make a positive impact on everyone at Eagle. Her bright future here is one we are excited to see unfold.

Nevan was a competitive gymnast for many years, retiring at Level 9. During his high school years, he made a significant impact as a Drum Major for Heritage High School. Now, Nevan is an integral part of Eagle Gymnastics Academy, leading the Girls Team on bars and vault.
Nevan is passionate about coaching and takes pride in helping his athletes find success both in and out of the gym. He is dedicated to fostering confidence, discipline, and a love for the sport, ensuring his athletes thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Zach has been a part of Eagle since 2005. Starting as a gymnast, and now coaching our boys' compulsory team at Eagle Gymnastics. Alongside his coaching, Zach is pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering at Collin College, with aspirations to work on medical devices.

Karen has been coaching gymnastics since 2006 and has been a valued member of Eagle Gymnastics Academy since 2008. As the mother of four wonderful children who have all grown up at Eagle, Karen brings a warm, family-oriented spirit to the gym. Her positive attitude and joyful energy brighten every program she is a part of.

Susan began coaching gymnastics in 2015 and joined the Eagle family in fall 2019. Throughout her time at Eagle she has coached a wide range of programs including recreational classes, girls and trampoline and tumbling pre-team, and trampoline and tumbling competitive team. This experience alludes to her well-rouded coaching approach, striving to grow great athletes and individuals whether new to their gymnastics journey or in the elite level. In 2023 she transitioned into her current role as social media coordinator, promoting gym events and achievements. She also works special events helping to create lasting memories for our Eagle families.
She is also a current member of the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Senior National Team. Her experience in national and international competitions offers invaluable insight into the elite level of the sport. Her diverse skill set continues to contribute to the growth and success of our gym, helping to create a dynamic and supportive environment for staff, athletes, and families.

Mandy has been a valuable member of our Eagle family. She is currently a student at Celina High School. With a background in gymnastics, Mandy enjoys coaching at Eagle. Her favorite activities include spending quality time with her family and attending church. Additionally, she is active at school, participating in both track and field as well as powerlifting.

Carter is a level-nine gymnast and has been competing with Eagle Gymnastics for 2 years. Before moving to Texas he was a competitive gymnast in Colorado. He is a freshman at Prosper High School and has a passion for learning. He was a member of the National Junior Honor Society both in Colorado and Texas. Along with his love for gymnastics, Carter has a passion for healthcare and hopes to pursue educational paths leading to nursing. Carter loves being a part of the Eagle coaching staff and sharing his passion for the sport with those he coaches.
