Eagle Gymnastics Girls Competitive Team

Our Girls Competitive Team began in 2005 with just six athletes. Since then, the program has grown significantly, with our athletes earning numerous District and State titles. At Eagle Gymnastics, we take great pride in our team program, focusing on teaching strong foundational skills to ensure long-term success as athletes progress through the USA Gymnastics Developmental Program.

Competitive gymnastics is a beautiful sport that requires commitment and dedication from both athletes and their families. Through their journey, athletes develop invaluable life skills, including goal-setting, teamwork, focus, and time management. At Eagle Gymnastics, we prioritize building character as much as teaching gymnastics, and we are proud of every athlete who represents our programs.

Compulsory Levels (2-5)

USA Gymnastics Compulsory Levels are designed to help young athletes develop strong basic skills, building the strength and technique needed for safe progression. Gymnasts perform the same routine at competitions, with increasing difficulty from Level 1 to Level 5.

At Eagle Gymnastics, our compulsory team begins at Level 2, with gymnasts typically between the ages of 5-8. Team members are selected from our class programs based on their strength, flexibility, and enthusiasm for learning.

The compulsory season in Texas runs from August through November or December, culminating in the State Championships. Our athletes primarily compete in the North Dallas area but also travel across Texas for invitational and state competitions.

Optional Levels (6-10)

Starting at Level 6, gymnasts perform personalized routines uniquely choreographed to highlight their strengths and skills. The optional competition season begins in January and concludes by May with State, Regional, or National Championships.

Optional-level athletes at Eagle Gymnastics compete across Texas and frequently travel to neighboring states for competitions. As we continue to grow, our aim is to develop into an elite-level program that provides opportunities for athletes to earn college scholarships. We are proud of their dedication and talent and look forward to watching these gymnasts soar to new heights!
