icon10/07/2017 - Eagle Gymnastics Crowns Two District Championships

On October 7-8,  2017, the Eagle Gymnastics Girls Compulsory Level 3 and 5s competed in McKinney at District Championships.

The Level 3 athletes had a tough weekend overall, but at the end of the meet, everyone had qualified to North State. In the Jr. Division, Maycie N. earned top 10 on beam and AA. In Jr. A Emmeline P. took top 10 on vault. In Sr. B, Amelia F. placed top 10 on vault and bars while Alyssa V. placed top 10 on beam. The rest of the team is comprised of Paige M. Grace B. and Anaya L.

The Level 5 team showed up this weekend ready to compete. Allison P. (Sr. B division) led the team winning a 1st place title on beam, a silver on bars and a bronze in AA. Allison also took top 5 on vault and bars. In the Sr. A division, Lila N. took the winning title on beam and placed top 5 on bars, floor and AA and top 10 on vault. Teammate Sydney K. placed top 5 on beam and floor and top 10 on vault, bars and AA. Also Sr. A. Kiersten T earned top 10 on vault and beam and AA.

Good luck to the Level 3 team at North State on November 4-5, 2017 and to the Level 5 team at the State Championships on November 11-12th weekend.

icon10/14/2017 - Eagle Gymnastics Earns 3 District Championship Titles

On October 14-15, 2017 the Eagle Gymnastics Girls Compulsory Level 2 and 4s competed in Frisco at the District Championships.

The Level 4P athletes had a rough start on beam, but stayed optimistic. In the Sr. C division, Shaelyn H. took top 5 on vault and top 10 on vault, bars, beam and AA. Also Sr. C Sydney B. earned top 10 on bars, beam, floor and AA. In the Sr. B division, Alexa L. had a beautiful beam routine, taking 4th, and placed top 10 on floor. Also Sr. B, Andrea L. took 5th on floor. Lindsay R. , Jr. B placed top 10 on bars. Amy N., Emilia A. and Sophie N. rounded out the team.

The Level 2 athletes rounded out the weekend on Sunday morning. Led by Brynlee S. who had the highest beam and vault scores of the meet, the team had a great showing. Kathryn B., Sophie G., Ryleigh H., Mila M., Joslynn P. each had great performances.

Good luck to the Level 4 team at North State in Allen on October 28-29, 2017. 

icon10/28/2017 - Amazing Performances at Level 4 State Championships

On October 2029, 2017 the Eagle Gymnastics Girls Compulsory Level 4 team competed in Allen at the North State Championships.

Ladies in the Sr C3 division started our weekend off. Shaelyn H. proved she has great balance, earning 2nd on beam. Shaelyn also placed 3rd All Around and top 5 on vault, bars and floor. Sydney B. landed twice on the podium taking 3rd on bars and floor. Sydney also took top 5 on beam and All Around. Alexa L. (Sr B2) placed top 5 on vault and floor and top 10 on bars, beam and AA. Andrea L. (Sr B2) landed on the podium with 3rd on beam and top 10 on vault, floor and AA. Emilia A. (Jr C2) finished top 10 on beam and floor. Lindsey R. (Jr B1) did her best after being sick leading up to the competition. Shaelyn H., Sydney B., Alexa L., and Andrea L., qualified to compete at State being held on November 19th in Rockwall.

icon11/04/2017 - Good Performances at Level 3 North State Championships

On November 4th and 5th, the Eagle Gymnastics Girls Compulsory Level 3's competed in Lake Dallas at the North State Championships.

The Senior divisions started off the weekend. Anaya L. (Sr C2) began the weekend for Eagle, earning 3rd on floor. Alyssa V. (Sr A2) took top 5 on beam and top 10 in AA. Amelia F. (Sr A1) landed on the podium earning 2nd AA and 3rd on bars and beam. Paige M. (Jr C2) had a great meet, earning top 5 on bars and top 10 on vault, beam and AA. In the Jr B3 division, Emmaline P. took 3rd on beam while teammate Maycie N. earned top 10 on bars. Grace B. rounded out the team. 

Congratulations to all our Level 3 athletes for a great end to their season! 

icon11/11/2017 - Outstanding Performance at Level 5 State Championships

On November 11th, the Eagle Gymnastics compulsory Level 5 team traveled to Lubbock for the State Championships.

The Senior division started off the weekend with a fantastic start. In the Sr. C3 division, Allie P. landed on the podium twice, earning 2nd on bars and beam and placed top 5 on floor and all around. In Sr. A3, Sydney K. also had podium finishes. Sydney placed 2nd on floor, 3rd on beam and top 10 on vault, bars and AA. Lila N. (Jr B3) earned 2nd on bars, 3rd on beam and top 5 on floor and AA. Teammate Kiersten T placed top 10 on beam.

We are so proud of our athletes on a great end to their season. Congratulations!

icon11/11/2017 - World Age Group and World Championships in Belarus

The 32nd FIG Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships took place November 9-12th and three of Eagle's own athletes were in attendance. Hope B, Isaac R., and Drew C. as well as one of our coaches, Jared Olsen. 

Hope competed in the women's tumbling and finished 9th in the individual competition. On top of that, she was a part of the women's tumbling team which finished 4th, the highest placement of a US Women's tumbling team at World Championships since 2009. 

Isaac competed in individual trampoline, as well as synchronized trampoline over the course of the week. He placed 51st in individual competition out of 85 athletes, some of which were past Olympians, and in synchro he and his partner placed 26th. Drew  also attended the competition as the alternate for the men's tumbling team.

Jared one our tumbling and trampoline coaches was at the World Championships on the National Coaching staff, more specifically as one of the assistant trampoline coaches for the USA. 

The next week, November 16-19th, Jeremy D. participated in the 25th FIG Tumbling and Trampoline World Age Group Competition. At the WAGC in men's tumbling, Jeremy placed 20th out of 33 athletes in the 17-21 age division, arguably one of the toughest categories to compete in. 

We are so proud of all our Eagle's and all that they have accomplished. Their goals were met and now the future will only tell what they are capable of now! Congratulations!

icon12/02/2017 - Eagle Gymnasts Rock at the State Invitational

On December 2nd, the Eagle Gymnastics Academy Girls Compulsory team competed at teh Carol Hillenburg State Invitational. Our Level 2, 3's walked away with 1st place team award.

Level 2 athletes had a fantastics meet! Brynlee S. Ryleigh H, Sophie G, Joslynn P, Kathryn B and Mila M. each had a great performances leading to many personal bests on events and all around.

Level 3 athletes rocked the competition! Amelia F. (Sr. Division) lead the team with an impressive 38.70 AA! She also completely swept the competition, winning 1st on vault, bars, beam, floor and AA. Also in the Sr division, Alyssa V. placed 2nd on bars and AA. Teammates Anaya L took 1st on vault, while Grace B. took 2nd on beam. In the Jr. division, Maycie N. took 1st on vault and bars, 2nd on floor and 3rd AA. Paige M. coming back from injury, earned her personal best on floor.

Level 4 athletes aslo had a great showing. In the Jr. A division, Lindsey R earned 2nd on beam, floor and AA. Amy N. (Achievement) had a fantastic meet earning her personal bests on vault and floor and AA.

Great job to our compulsory athletes for a wonderful meet. 

icon12/09/2017 - Eagle Boys Team First Meet of the Season

WOW! What an amazing beginning to the season for the Eagle Gymnastics Academy Boys' Team. The men's team had a 3 day long competition at Valeri Luikin meet the weeked of December 8-10, 2017.

Starting the weekend off was the Level 7 team. Josh C. earned 2nd on rings and high bar and 8th AA. Owen came home with 6th on high bar in the same division. Kaeden N. took home 11th on pommels and Luke R. and 8th on high bar and pommels while Landon earned 11th on high bar.

In the Level 8 division, Logan pulled it all together and earned 2nd on vault and 8th on rings. The Level 9s were next and Carter K. in the 13-14th year olds, was 5th on vault and Solomon S. in the 15 and older group, earned 5th on vault too.

On Saturday, we only had our Level 9s competing and Jordan L. took home 3rd on floor and 11th on rings. Jordan S. earned 8th on rings and Jack 10th on high bar. 

Sunday was the last day of the meet but by far the busiest. The level 6s were up and they had a great showing. Cameron H. placed 9th AA, Cortland W. earned 4th on parallel bars and Matthew was 10th on floor. Halen W. had a strong showing with 8th AA and 4th on high bar. The team also took home 4th edging out 22 other teams.

Immediatly following the Level 6 team was the Level 4 teams. This was the boys first meet of the season and their first meet EVER! The boys showed confidence and determination. Placing 3rd, 4th and 5th AA were Elliott F., Owen B. and Casen K all in the 6-7 year old age group. In the 8yr old, Ian placed 8th AA. In the 9 year old division, Mace was 4th AA and Sheppard was 6th on pommels. The boys took home 2nd team award.

Last to go were the Level 5 team. In the 7-9 year olds, Jake placed 7th AA and 2nd on rings and his teammates also had a good showing. In the 11 year old division, Noah placed 11th AA, Zach placed 6th AA with a first on parallel bars. With dedication and heart, the boys performed with excellence and placed 3rd in the team awards.

Hear at Eagle, we are extremely proud of our athletes and the dedication they all put into their practice time. Way to go! 

icon01/13/2018 - Eagle Gymnastics Rocks at Friends of Achievers

The Eagle Gymnastics Girls team competed in Lake Dallas, Texas the weekend of January 12-14, 2018 at the Friends of Achievers Invitational. Level 3 and 4 teams walked away victorious taking 1st place team awards.

Session 1 hosted level 4's on Friday morning. All in the Sr. A division, the girls swept 1,2,3 on floor and 1st place on every event and all around was earned by an Eagle athlete. Alexa L. had the strongest meet, earning 1st on vault, beam, floor and AA and 2nd on bars. Andrea L. took 1st on bars and 3rd on floor and AA. Sydney B. placed 2nd on floor.

The level 6 team had an awesome showing Friday afternoon. In the Jr. C division, Lila N finished 3rd on bars. In the Sr. A division, Allison P. earned 1st on bars and beam and 2nd on floor and AA. Sydney K. rounded out the team.

On Friday evening, the level 7 team got their turn to shine. In the Jr. C division, Taryn V. B. earned 3rd on bars and floor. Ashlynn C. Sr. B division, placed 3rd on vault. Annabel P. and Reese R. rounded out the team.

The level 8 team had a great showing on Saturday afternoon. In the Jr. B division, Ailey S. finished 1st on floor. Teammate Pallie M. took 3rd on bars, floor and AA. Amanda B. competed in the Sr. A division and did a great job considering she had been out most of the week with the flu.

On Saturday night, our level 9 athlete took the floor, Madison H. competed in the Sr. A division. Madison rocked beam and floor, earning 2nd all around.

The level 3 team competed early Sunday morning. The team was led by Amelia F. who swept 1st on vault, bars, beam, floor and AA in the Sr. A division. Teammate Alyssa V. earned 2nd on bars, beam, floor and AA. In the Sr. B division, Anaya L. placed 1st on bars and 3rd on vault. Brynlee S. earned 1st on beam in the Jr. A division. In the Jr. B division, Maycie N. placed 1st on bars and floor and 2nd on beam and AA. Teammates Paige M. and Emmeline P. rounded out the Jr. B division. 

The level 2 team also competed Sunday morning. Many athletes earned personal best scores on many events. Ryleigh H., Joslynn P., and Mila M. had an amazing end to their season.

Great job to our Level 2 athletes for a wonderful season. Good luck to the rest of the Compulsory girls team and optional girls team at their next competition in Irving, Texas.

icon01/13/2018 - Boys Team competing in Knoxville and Rockwall

The boys team of Eagle Gymnastics had a busy weekend this past weekend on January 13-14, 2018. We had one group of boys that went to Knoxville, TN for the Ozone Invitational and another attended the Rockwall Invitational. 

The boys that traveled to Knoxville were able to see a city of incredible natural landscape and some of the nicest people a city can offer. Rockwall is a city not lacking in charm and beauty.

For our Ozone attendees, we started Friday evening with Matthew representing the Level 6's receiving 6th on pommel horse and he had personal bests on his other 5 events. The next event was "The Night of Champions" with Level 10's represented in all disciplines of both Men and Women artistic and Men and Women Tumbling and Trampoline. This was an amazing event and the Level 10's were represented well. Jack earned a 6th on pommels and AA, 5th on high bar and 3rd on rings and vault. His teammate, Jordan S received 5th on floor and rings, 3rd on pommels and AA and 2nd on high bar. 

On Sunday it was the Level 9s turn. Solomon S. earned 6th on rings, 5th on pommel horse and 3rd on parallel bars. Following him was our Level 7 team with the 10-11 year olds Joshua S taking home 5th on pommels, Kaeden N. earning 8th on vault and 6th on parallel bars. Luke R. earned an impressive 8th AA and 7th on floor, pommels and high bar also earning 4th on rings while teammate Joshua C. captured 6th on rings and 5th on parallel bars, high bar and AA and 4th on pommel horse and vault. In the 12 and older category, Elias received a 5th on pommel and parallel bars and AA, a 4th on vault and 2nd on rings. His teammate Landen N. earned 7th on floor and pommels, a 5th on parallel bars, 3rd on rings and parallel bars and took home 4th AA.

The weekend was an amazing one for the boys in Knoxville and the boys proudly represented Eagle Gymnastics Academy.

In a completely different time zone, the younger half of Eagle Boys team was busy competing at the Rockwall Invitational in Rockwall Texas. The level 4-6 boys competed all day Saturday, with positive results.

Starting off the first session of the meet was the Level 4's for the 6-7 year olds. Casen K. who placed 2nd on floor, pommel, 3rd on rings and AA. Owen B. placed 3rd on floor and 1st on rings. In the 8 year old division, Ian placed 1st on pommels, rings, high bar and 2nd AA. In the 9-10 year olds, Sheppard who placed 7th on rings and Mace who placed 2nd on pommels, 1st on rings, 3rd on parallel bars, 1st on high bar and 3rd AA. Elliot who had a recent injury came to the meet to show his support by cheering on his teammates at the meet. The boys team placed 3rd.

Following the level 4s was the Level 5 team. First off were the 7-9 year old division, with Ben who placed 2nd on floor, vault and high bar, 3rd on pommels, 1st on rings, 4th on parallel bars and 1st AA. Next up was Jake who placed 1st on pommel horse and 5th AA. 

In the 10-11 year old division, Noah placed 5th on floor, 3rd on pommels, 2nd on rings, high bar and AA and  1st on parallel bars. Last up was Zach who placed 1st on floor, 2nd on parallel bars, 5th on pommels, 3rd on high bar and AA. Altogether the boys team placed 1st as a team.

The boys learned lot this meet through some mistakes but overall, they have improved a tremendous amount on their abilities to score high and win gold! We are so proud of all the boys to include Joseph and Aiden who were unable to compete due to injury but still showed their support.
