The weekend of February 10-11, 2024, the Eagle Gymnastics Boys Optional Team headed to the Star to compete at the Liukin Invitational. Some of the highlights include Andrew S. 2nd place finish on floor and 3rd place finish on pommels. John Michael M. had a great pommel horse routine which earned him 2nd place. Mason H. earned a gold medal on rings, while teammate Matthew had a great meet and competed his Endo which earned him the Bronze in the All Around. Simon also earned 2nd all around title in his age group. 

The level 3s have been working towards this meet since the beginning of summer. As their biggest meet so far, these guys kept their cool and showed out for Eagle. Luca earned 4th in the All-around, highlighted by a very strong ring routine. Ethan and Atlas had a high-flying vaults, Arjan had a solid floor routine, Ben placed 3rd on high bar, and Sam had a clean P-bar routine. 

After the level 3s were done, the Level 4s were up. They had a very productive meet as Gavin broke out to win first place on pommels and vault. Knox competed his full pirouette on floor for the first time and Ayaan added his spindle to his pommel horse routine. Coach Zach is looking forward to working these guys to make sure they hit their stride at State and Regionals. 

Over the weekend of February 24-25, 2023, our Women's Optional Team competed at the Zenith Winter Classic. With this competition, all of our level 6-10 team members have qualified to their respective State Championships.

Level 10, Ryan earned 2nd place on vault, beam, floor and the all-around while Level 9 Emilia earned 3rd place on floor. 

Our Level 8 team, Elise, Brooklyn, Maliah and Alena, brought home 3rd place in the team competition. At this competition all of our level 8 athletes competed in the Jr.A age division. Elise earned 3rd place on beam while Brooklyn earned 2nd on vault, 3rd on bars, and had a top 5 finish in the all around. Maliah earned 3rd on vault and had top 5 finishes on floor and in the all around. Rounding out our level 8s, Alena earned 1st on vault and bars, top 5 on beam, 2nd on floor and 3rd in the All around. 

Our Level 7 team earned 2nd place in the team competition with contributions from Piper, Coco, Anastasia, Paige, Vivian, Emma and Harper. In Jr. A Piper earned 1st place on beam and Anastasia earned 3rd on vault and top 4 on bars and the all around. Also competing in Jr. A, Vivian earned 3rd on beam and 1st on floor. In Jr. B, Harper earned top 5 on floor. Competing in the senior divisions were Emma and Paige. Emma (Sr A), learned 2nd on vault, 3rd on beam and top 5 on floor. Paige (Sr B), earned 1st on vault, 2nd on beam and top 5 on floor. 

Congratulations to all of our optional teams on such a strong meet. We look forward to seeing them next at State Championships held throughout the month of March. 

Team Eagle, the powerhouse trampoline and tumbling team known for its unwavering dedication and exceptional talent, is making headlines once again. With a jam-packed schedule and remarkable achievements, Team Eagle continues to set high standards within the Trampoline and Tumbling community. 

From February 15-19th, Team Eagle descended upon Las Vegas for the highly anticipated Mega Meet. Competing against the top gymnasts from around the country, our athletes shined as bright as the glittering lights of Viva Las Vegas. When the team wasn't competing, many were able to make it a memorable trip, taking in a Cirque du Soleil show or zipping down Fremont Street. It was great for coaches, athletes and parents to venture out west to Vegas. 

Back on home turf, Team Eagle hosted its annual Dare to Soar competition in Frisco, TX. From February 22-23rd, gymnasts of all ages and levels gathered to compete, inspire and celebrate the sport that they love. The energy was electric as young talents soared through the air, leaving spectators in awe. 

While Dare to Soar was happening, our esteemed coach, Isaac, took center stage at the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. In the Individual Trampoline event, Isaac's flawless routine earned him a remarkable 12th place finish. But that's not all! Teaming up with his synchro partner, Isaac clinched the Bronze Medal in the Synchronized Trampoline competition. His dedication and skills contributed to the USA Olympic qualification, earning valuable points for our country. Way to go Isaac! Team Eagle is bursting with pride! 

Next on the horizon is the Winter Classic in Oklahoma City. For Isaac, this marks the first Olympic Trial- a pivotal moment in his career. But his is not alone, our other elite athletes will compete in hopes of qualifying to international competitions later this year. As they prepare to take flight, we wish the entire Team Eagle the best of luck. Their passion, resilience and teamwork continue to inspire us all.

Congratulations to our Level 10, Ryan G. and Level 9, Emilia A. as both athletes qualified to Region 3 Championships on the weekend of April 12-14, 2024 at TWU. 

Ryan placed 6th on vault, beam and floor and finished top 10 in the all around. Event specialist Emilia finished 6th on floor. Way to go ladies, we are so proud of you!

The Eagle Gymnastics Academy's Trampoline and Trampoline and Tumbling Team soared to new heights at the 2024 Winter Classic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This prestigious event marked the first Olympic trial for our nation's top trampoline athletes, and they did not disappoint.

Isaac's Remarkable Performance
Isaac, one of our star athletes, delivered an outstanding performance that ranked him 3rd in the Olympic selection process. His dedication, precision, and grace on the trampoline left spectators in awe. There are still two more selection events, we can't wait to see how he performs. 

Team Triumphs
But Isaac wasn't the only standout. Our entire team demonstrated their prowess, bringing home a haul of medals:

3 First place finishes: Kayla Lynn (Level 8 Trampoline), Caitlyn Cook (Level 8 Tumbling), and Skye Hawk (Junior Elite Tumbling)
4 Second place finishes: Grayson N. (Level 9 Trampoline), Sorina S. (Level8 Trampoline), Channing K. (Level 10 Double Mini), and Ellie B. (Level 8 Double Mini).
1 Third place finish: Kaylana D. (Intermediate Elite Double Mini).

Next Steps
The journey continues for Eagle Gymnastics Academy. Next on the agenda is the National Team camp for Skyelar H. and Isaac R. in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. These dedicated athletes will fine-tune their routines, aiming for even greater successes on the international stage. 
And speaking of international competition, Isaac is set to represent the United States at the final World Cup in Cottbus, Germany. His mission? To secure a coveted spot for the USA gymnastics team at the upcoming Olympics. We have no doubt that Isaac's passion and skill will shine brightly as he competes against the world's best. 
While Isaac is in Germany, the rest of the team will travel to Austin, Texas and compete in their final competition of regular season a the Champions Classic.

Eagle athlete and Coach, Isaac Rowley, travelled to Germany on March 18th for the Cottbus World Cup- the final Olympic qualifying World Cup for trampoline and tumbling. Isaac helped the USA men earn a quota spot to the summer games in Paris based on ranking points. Isaac will be training hard to prepare for the Elite Challenge that will be held in Irving on May 9-12th and the USA Championships, to be held in Minneapolis in June. The athlete who will represent Team USA for Trampoline at the Olympic Games in Paris will be decided after these events.

The Eagle Gymnastics Men's team competed at the Texas State Championships over the weekend of March 15-17, 2024, in Belton, Texas. All the athletes earned a spot to the Regional Championships where they can qualify for Westerns or Nationals. Some highlights for the weekend include several State Champion medals and some solid gymnastics.

For the Level 7s, Mason H. was the lone competitor, taking 3rd on rings, and 4th in the All Around. The Level 8 boys follow suit, with Yuva grabbing 4th place on floor and p-bars, Matthew grabbing 2nd place on high bar and 3rd on pommels, P-bars and the AA. Camden taking 5th on floor and 6th on parallel bars, and Zach placing 4th on p-bars and 6th in AA.

For the Level 9s, Simon and Andrew competed in the Junior Elite session, working towards grabbing a bid to Nationals in the coming weeks. Andrew earned 3rd place on floor and Simon 5th place on high bar. Aiden and Carter also had a great meet, Aiden was the level 9 State Champion on pommel horse and a solid competition for Carter as he finished up the last meet of the Level 9 season with a bronze level finish on floor. As for the Level 10s, competition was tough as they get ready to push for National Qualification in several weeks. Eli placed 4th on p-bars and 6th AA and teammate Tyler earned 5th on floor. Ryland and Zach all had some highs at State, each one working on new kills to try to bring to Regionals. 

This past weekend, our Level 3-6 team competed at the North State Championships in Saginaw earning the following highlights at this tough competition. Our Level 3 boys competed in two divisions according to their age groups. In the Level 3 Division 1-A group, Ben earned the bronze medal on pommels and Luca earned the bronze on p-bars and high bar. In the Level 3 Division 1-B group, Atlas lead the way with a 3rd place finish on pommel sand 5th place AA. Arjan placed  5th on floor, Ethan place 3rd on high bar and Sam had a personal best score of 9.1 on floor. 

The level 4 boys, Gavin, Knox, Ayaan and Asa worked hard and all earned a sport to Regional Championships with Gavin taking silver medal on pommels and Knox finishing 4th on floor. The lone competitor for Level 6, John Michael, earned the State Title on pommels and finished 2nd on rings and p-bars. Congratulations boys!

Next up will be the Level 7-10 Regional Championships in Oklahoma City on April 12-14, 2024. . 

The weekend of March 16-17, 2024, our Level 7 girls artistic team competed in the Texas State Championships held at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen, TX. All of our athletes advanced on to Regional Championships to be held during the weekend f April 19-21st in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Piper, Coco and Vivi competed in the Jr. A1 division, with Vivi earning 3rd place on floor. Competing in the Jr. A2 Division was Anastasia. In Jr C1, Harper earned 2nd on vault and beam, 3rd on bars and is the STATE CHAMPION on floor and all around. 

In the Sr. Division, we had Emma and Paige. Emma (A1) is the STATE CHAMPION on beam while Paige (C2) earned 3rd place on beam. 

Congratulations to all of our State Champions as we look forward to seeing everyone at Regionals. 

Our level 8 team competed at the State Championships over the weekend of March 23-24, 2024. 

Brooklyn (Jr A3) earned 3rd place on vault and bars, while Alena (Jr B2) earned 3rd place on vault. Brooklyn, Alena, Maliah and Elise all qualified for Regionals in New Mexico late in April.

Our Level 7-10 boys team competed at the Region 3 Championships last weekend in Oklahoma, with a chance to qualify for Western and National Championships.

The lone Level 7, Mason, had a fantastic meet, not only qualifying for Westerns, but also grabbed 1st place on parallel bars and 2nd on floor.

The level 8s had four athletes, all of which qualified for Westerns, Yuva and Matthew competed in the Jr. Division with Yuva taking 6th on vault and parallel bars and Matthew earning 3rd all around with a silver on pommels and top 5 finishes on 3 other events. In the Sr. Division, Camden and Zach competed well with clean and solid routines. These boys are hoping to bring some new skills to Westerns!

For the Level 9 Jr. Division, Aiden did well and secured a spot to Westerns, having clean routines and a 5th place on floor. Andrew and Simon competed in the Junior Elite Division, and the competition was very tough, as only 4 athletes were selected to qualify to the National Championships in Daytona, FL. Simon took the silver on rings and placed well enough to secure a spot for Nationals and Andrew became the Region 3 Floor Champion and qualified to compete at Westerns. Both boys did well enough to make the Region 3 Elite camp this summer to train with the best athletes in the Region. Both are huge accomplishments. Well, done!

The level 10s also competed well, with few mistakes and clean routines. Zach and Tyler both qualified for National Championships. Eli, our oldest competitor faced tough competition, but competed like a king and made his coaches proud. This was Eli's last competition in the sport and was a great way to close out a long career. 

TWU's Kitty Magee Arena in Denton, TX played host to both the Level 6 State Championships (April 6-7) and the Level 9/10 Region 3 Championships (April 12=14) over the past two weekends.

After a few mishaps on bars and beam, Camryn (Level 6) rallied back to score personal best on vault and floor. Ryan (Level 10) competed Friday evening. She scored personal bests on vault, floor and the All Around. Ryan finished top 10 on vault with her stuck Front handspring front tuck. On Sunday afternoon, floor specialist Emilia (Level 9) competed a beautiful floor routine. Her attention to detail earned her a personal best score for the season and secured her the silver medal. Congratulations to all of our athletes. 

Our teams were busy over the weekend of April 12-14, 2024. All of the hard work that the boys have put in this year has led them to the Region 3 Championship in Lubbock, Texas. Even qualifying for this meet is extremely difficult, so the boys team knew earning a medal would be quite the challenge. 

The level 3s, however, were up to the challenge. Ethan won silver medal on High bar and exploded off the springboard to his first Regional Championship on Vault. Atlas had an impressive pommel horse routine and earned 4th place. Ben earned 4th place on pommel, Pbars, high bar and all around. Luca had a great ring routine and secured a bronze medal on high bar. Arjan had a very clean floor routine and showed an innate ability to lead throughout the entire competition. 

The level 4s also wanted to show off the work they've put in. Ayaan had an impressive pommel horse routine and fought through adversity to compete his double back handspring on floor. Knox swung to handstand on parallel bars and scored 8th in the all around. Gavin competed an aggressive pommel horse to get a silver medal and was named Regional Champion on Vault. Asa's pommel routine really impressed the judges, and he was able to come home with a fourth place medal for it. 

Level 6, John Michael's determination this season has really impressed Coach Stephen and Coach Zach. After an unfortunate fall at the end of a near perfect pommel routine, the judges spoke of how impressive it was regardless. All the coaches at Eagle are super excited to watch John Michael transition to optional gymnastics this up and coming season.

All these boys have come a long way, Coach Zach is extremely proud of this group and excited to see what they can do in the future. 

The Eagle Gymnastics Academy girls team competed in Albuquerque, NM on April 19-21, 2024. 

The Junior A athletes kicked the weekend off in the Friday morning session. In the Level 8 gym, Maliah (group 2) finished 2nd on vault and top 5 on bars & the AA. She also landed in the top 10 on beam and floor, Brooklyn (group 4) also placed 2nd on vault, top 5 in the AA and top10 on bars, beam & floor. 

In the Level 7 gym, Coco (group 1) lead the charge earning personal best on beam, floor & the AA. She placed 3rd on floor and top 10 on vault, beam & the AA. Piper (group 1) and Anastasia (group 2) rounded out the Junior A division,

For the Junior B session, Elise (group 2) and Alena (group 4) represented Team Eagle in the level 8 gym. Elise finished top 5 on bars, beam and the AA. She also placed top 10 on vault, floor, while Alena landed top 10 on vault, floor and the AA. 

Harper (group 2) competed in the Level 7 gym during the Junior C session. After a slow start on bars, she rallied back to finish top 5 on vault and floor and top 10 AA. 

Emma (group 2) competed Saturday afternoon in the level 7 Senior A division. She earned personal best scores on three events which lead to a top 5 finish on floor and top 10 finishes on vault, bars, beam and the AA. 

Paige (group 2) rounded out the squad on Sunday evening in the level 7 Senior D division. She placed 3rd on beam, top 5 on vault and top 10 on bars and the AA. 

That's a wrap on the competitive season. We are proud of all the accomplishments these athletes have made this year. 

The Eagle boys competed at Western National Championships over the weekend of April 27-28, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the final stop of the season for these boys, and they got a chance to compete against the top gymnasts from around the country.

Starting off on Friday was Aiden and Andrew competing level 9. Both boys had a great meet and were able to bring home and 6th on high bar. Andrew rocked a floor routine and brought home 2nd place on floor and 6th on pommel horse and p-bars. 

The level 8 boys started off Saturday morning with a good session, with Matthew grabbing 1st place on pommel horse and 2nd on high bar. Yuva had a fantastic meet too, taking home 3rd place on floor. Following that session were Camden and Zach, Camden had solid competition, taking 5th on high bar and 3rd on p-bars respectively. 

Finishing out the weekend was Mason competing Level 7. Fighting through tough competition he held strong and Mason was able to bring home a 6th place medal for rings! 

The last meet of the season will be the National Championships in Daytona, Florida in May. 

Our Trampoline and Tumbling team traveled to Lubbock last weekend to compete against the best in our Region- which includes athletes from Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Our athletes had a fantastic competition and earned 17 gold medals earning Regional Titles, 9 silver medals and 12 bronze medalists. All of our Level 5-7 athletes have earned a spot to compete at the Stars and Stripes National Championships n Ft. Worth in July, and all of our Level 8-10 and Elite athletes have qualified to compete at the USA Championships that will be held in Minneapolis in June. 

We would also like to congratulate Elite Athletes, Susan Gill who received an academic scholarship from the Region. She will be pursuing her Masters in Science in Athletic Training at UT Arlington starting in June. 

Congratulations to Vivian, Anastasia, Piper and Coco for qualifying to the USA Gymnastics National Tops Testing that will be held in Houston in June. 

TOPS (Talent Opportunity Program) is a talent search and educational program for gymnasts aged 8-10 and their coaches. Athletes attend state testing and based on results, are invited to participate in the National TOPS Testing, followed by TOPS training camp. We want to recognize our athletes for their hard work and wish them the best of luck at TOPS testing. 

Elite level Trampoline and Tumbling athletes will be competing at the Irving Convention Center May 9-12, 2024. Come and cheer on Team Eagle as they take on the best of the USA. This is also the second of three Olympic qualifying events to determine the trampolinist that will represent Team USA at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer- best of luck to Isaac Rowley, who is currently ranked 3rd in the standings, he has been working hard to prepare for this event. Everyone is rooting for you Isaac!

The Eagle Gymnastics Men's Team competed in Daytona, Florida over the weekend of May 10-12th at the Men's National Championships. This is the toughest meet of the season and showcases the best that that the USA has to offer at their age. 

Tyler T. and Zach H. qualified for Level 10 and competed on Friday afternoon. Both men did a fantastic job and represented Eagle well under the big lights. Zach had a chance going into the last session to qualify for event finals on vault but fell just short and Tyler was hoping his all around score would hold up to qualify him for finals. While neither of these guys mead it to Sunday's last session, spirits were high when the dust settled.

Simon P. the lone Junior Elite level 9 had 2 days of competition, Thursday and Sunday. Simon had a fantastic meet as well, going 12/12 on his events and taking home 5th place in the country on High Bar!

The boys and coaches returned home on Sunday evening, as the new season begins going into summer!
